About Bransholme Enterprises
www.bransholmeenterprises.co.uk
Bransholme Enterprises is a social enterprise established in 2001 to work for the environmental, economic and community benefit of the Bransholme area of Kingston Upon Hull. Groups and individuals of all ages and abilities can benefit from discovering the fun that can be had by getting your hands dirty. We offer accredited and non-accredited training to adults, young people, school groups & the community in the basics of garden horticulture.
We offer 1-2-1 support, advice & guidance services to those wanting to return to employment and offer an effective signposting system as well as our Development Officers working with individuals to reach their personal goals. There is a range of opportunities for volunteering or work experience for both young people and adults across on the Community Woodland & Allotments.
Our allotment site is occupied by approximately 40 plot holders who share in the project objectives and ethos. We also look after the 15 acre woodland site adjacent that is booming with wildlife from foxes, deer and owls. We are passionate about our community and are dedicated to improving the lives of those around us. Our hard work was rewarded last year with winning the prestigious Hull in Bloom Award 2010 and Best Community Group.
