GWS Celebration Event

Growing With Schools Celebration Event:

Green-fingered children in Coventry showcased their growing skills at an event to celebrate the results so far of the Growing With Schools project.

Students from Coventry’s primary and secondary schools visited Christ the King Junior School to celebrate creative displays of their produce in their own version of a traditional village fair.

There were workshops and educational activities, ranging from from FCFCG’s Vegopoly game, (based on Monopoly) and a water conservation game from Severn Trent, through to making paper pots and transplanting seedlings.
